Favorite Movie
Author's Note: Everyone I know has a favorite movie, whether it be a comedy, horror, documentary, romance or educational. My personal favorite would have to be comedy.
My favorite movie is 'Year One' The reason why I like it is because it is so funny with Jack Black and Michal Serra. It might not be appropriate for everyone but there are two versions of it a theatrical version and the unrated version. I recommend this movie to adults and very mature teens. This movie is ridiculously funny for its unique story line and continuously running gags. I double dare someone not to laugh.
The Perfect World
Author’s Note: Slowly dreaming of a world that is absolutely perfect to you . Everyone has one, and I’m going to tell you mine.
My perfect world would have to be where there are no parents and no
schools just all of your friends and a ton of hangout places. I would
want all of my friends to be there and just hang out. We would all just
mess around and do whatever we wanted. There would be an unending supply
of everything and we could do everything that adults could do and we
wouldn't have to wait until we were older. We could also choose what age
we would want to stay at,and be that age forever. I would also have
all the games systems and every single game ever made and play all day
and night. The same would be for my friends and their friends and it
would be perfect. That would probably be it, I don’t really need much in
my world to be happy just my friends.
For the deceased Jace Wayland
Author's Note: I Wrote this poem about my friend that meant a lot to me. I wrote this to honor him.
You came home
yesterday on that silver-winged bird.
Nobody made a peep,
not a word.
Silence flew over
the crowd like your spirit over me.
It felt like just
yesterday I met you, but we knew each other forever
When I read the
letter I collapsed where I stood
I cried for hours
and hours, forever it seemed like since I saw you
Now I will never see
you again
The closest I can
get to you is that American flag you are covered by.
Your men salute, and
stamp in their medallions on your black box.
The church bell
rings and shots are fired
Everyone leaves, but me
Just you and I the
way it always used to be
The two of us
together alone
But this time
there’s a box in our way
We can’t hug or
kiss, not even touch
The box is a way of
blocking one world from another
Life and Death, light and dark, good and evil, yin and yang, you and me
You had a free and
caring spirit; you gave it all for your men
And all your men
gave some for you
My Nephew Seth
Author’s Note: Over time family's create strong bonds, especially if you see
them almost everyday of your life. That’s what happened with my nephew
and I.
I wake up on a Saturday evening with a cramp in my back; soon I have a
small child right next to me screaming my name. That child is my nephew,
Seth. Seth is seven years old and ever since we were kids we have been
the Dynamic Duo. I have known Seth since he was born and I have been in
his life ever since and I have not regretted a single moment we are
together. My brother is always happy when I spend time with
him. When I boast about him to my friends they told me they didn’t
believe me so I actually had to bring in a picture and show them. My
nephew and I have had amazing times together although, at times he can
be very annoying . Seth ` is like a small cat, he looks cute but once
you try to pet him he is very deadly.
